With apologies to the backers who also follow us in the VIP Group who are aware of this information already (which you can join here, for more regular updates):

We are pleased to announce the following (and remembering that we are called KARUS now, and not Groooveee):
1. See finalised design pack (the carry bag isn't shown but will be included):
2. We're doing another crowdfund. Why, you ask? Because we decided we could do with a little more capital as (good) design and manufacturing isn't cheap. Plus we get more exposure with a better version of the product and better branding.
3. This will, sadly, delay manufacturing by 3 months or so, as we need to see how many units to produce based on the next crowdfund. Apologies for this, but the safest way to guarantee a solid product is to use a good manufacturer, which we'll be able to with the extra cash.
4. Because of the design upgrades, the product now costs more to produce, which means the discounted price you paid is less than the new one, so you've got an even better deal. I know it's not ideal for some, but I do hope it softens the blow a little bit.

Dear Backers!
A Short and Sharp Update
We're making good progress with things on our side and we finalised the product design last week (it is looking really good - super compact and ergonomic, see image below) which means we're now at the prototype stage, expecting to receive the first version by the end of the month.
Not only do we think it's an incredible design but we've managed to add something special to it!
The red ring you can see below shows how we've cut away the right arm, which means you'll be able to dig into the hard to reach areas of your golf club e.g. the edges of the cavity back.
We're super excited about this as the previous designers said it couldn't be done (because the brush head is detachable, and needs a strong mechanism / arm to support this), so it means the brush will be even more effective than expected.
Anyway, once we review the prototype we will make the final amendments with a view to beginning the manufacturing process asap. There may be a delay of a month or so but will confirm asap.

Happy New Year All!!
We're a little late on this, but for good reason - there's two big announcements which we wanted to do together, and I know that there's been surveys (and reminders to do the surveys!) so we didn't want to overload you with emails.
Manufacturing Update
We've nearly finished the design updates for both the cleaning brush and the bag, should be done by next week, after which we'll finalise the prototypes for any last minutes design changes.
The new design is seriously hot, see below, and we'd love to know your thoughts:
We're on track for a late June delivery still, so will keep you posted on this and the bag design.
Brand Name Change
We've been speaking with a few experts and have come to the conclusion that Groooveee is not suitable for a brand name - it's too difficult to spell, it's too similar to our competitors and it leaves us with little room to grow a company when we create other products.
So we are now known as "Karus Golf" - where Karus is a Latin word for beloved, or valued, and the cleaning brush is tentatively known as the "K1":

1. The BackerKit Surveys are nearly out!
After sending them to a small sample of you (5% of all backers) we're still waiting to hear back from those that received them, so please keep an eye on your inbox for the "Groooveee BackerKit Survey".
To remind, the survey is your chance to:
- Provide shipping details
- Upgrade your order with Upgrades Add-Ons at your pledge tier prices
- Provide any feedback or ask questions
2. Shipping Costs
Please note that the shipping costs below are based on today's prices, and they will be taken from your nominated credit card nearer the shipping time.
It is possible that, by then, you may have adjusted your order, exchange rates moved or shipping prices changed so we will confirm the actual cost asap.
Each order below is a unique order from a backer, sorted by country of purchase (in the first column) then the number of Groooveee's, Brush Heads and Golf Towels purchased in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th columns.
You can see that prices increase as the weight increases, so if your exact order isn't listed then you should be able to work it out:
1x Groooveee = 600gms
3x Replaceable Brush Heads = 100gms
1x Golf Towel = 150gms
But if not then leave a message below, or send an email to [email protected] and we can confirm the price for you there.
